Professional Background of GenerationY.Com Author

I Lisa Mangelsdorf have ten years of varied work experience associated with project management, relationship management, event management, communications, marketing and staff management. All of my roles have involved communicating with multiple generations. Well versed in establishing, attaining and retaining business relationships with most sectors of the community. I have completed my Masters in Business Administration. An alumnus and former Board Member for a Regional Leadership Program in Australia. I have a conventional day job and like many other GenYs, also endeavour to fight the norm by chasing flexible working options and change seekers, hence my involvement with this blog.

Outside of Work

I confess that I don’t live to work, I work to live. My partner and I relish traveling, cultural activities and the great outdoors. Tennis, yoga, snow skiing, water skiing, bike riding and jogging – you name it, and we will probably give it a go. I am by no means a fitness addict though, because with each activity I am likely to spend double the time socialising with friends, family and trying to eat all the cuisines of the world one snack at a time.
